Build Regex is designed from the ground up to respect your privacy and secure your data.

Zero Server-Side Collection

Unlike traditional regular expression testers and builders, Build Regex does not send your expressions, test strings, match results, or parameters to any server. All processing is executed locally in your browser sandbox using javascript engine utilities.

Local Browser Storage

Any configuration states (such as your current learning lesson progress or custom saved patterns) are saved strictly inside your local device's browser localStorage cache. This data remains on your machine and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser cache.

Analytics and Statistics

We use basic, privacy-respecting website analytics (Google Analytics) to measure generic site traffic patterns, referral sources, and page popularity. We do not track, collect, or log individual keystrokes, clipboard inputs, or text entries.
